Laser Pigmentation Removal safely and effectively reduces the appearance of freckles, pigmentation, and post-trauma pigmentation including acne scars and age spots. The laser targets only the pigmented lesion in the skin which absorbs the light, without damaging the surrounding skin. The 1064 nm QS-Nd:YAG is well absorbed by melanin and being a longer wavelength causes minimal damage to epidermis.

Pigmentation does not go away in 1-2 sessions. Epidermal pigmentation needs at least 3 sessions and dermal pigmentation needs at least 6 sessions to be removed.

Pigmented lesions that have been removed will not return after your laser treatments. However, various factors such as aging, changes in hormone levels or UV exposure can stimulate new hyperpigmentation.
